The meeting was opened at 7:00 PM with the pledge to the flag.


The minutes were read and corrections were made and accepted after motions by Margaret Wolff and Edward Kukenberger.

Motions by Ed Kukenberger and Margaret Wolff were made and the report was accepted.


Rich Carr noted the interest paid year to date was $6700.00 and by the end of the year should be about $8000.00.

The bills were paid after motions by Ed Kukenberger and Margaret Wolff.


Chiefs Report: Alan Thayer reported the Christmas party will be Sunday December 2 at the Schuyler Lake Hotel at 6 for cocktails and 7 for dinner.

Tires and rims are getting painted and will be put on this weekend.


The DVD and VCR are missing.


The auxiliary does not need anything.


The fire police want 6 vests and 6 LED lights at the cost of $12.00 each. Ed Kukenberger made the motion to allocate $400.00 for these purchases and second by Margaret Wolff, carried.


The Fire Company wants to paint the kitchen, the commissioners will pay for the paint with the Company doing the painting. Ed Kukenberger made the motion to pay for the paint, second by Margaret Wolff and carried.


The Fire Company has a list of items they want in a tanker and their next step is to contact salesmen.


The chief’s report was accepted after motions by Margaret Wolff and Ed Kukenberger.


Grants Update: The State Forest Service grant is completed.


Jim Wolff is getting the Reflective number survey in order to submit for a grant.


The smoke alarms are on order and are to be here in January.


Old Business: Margaret Wolff reported the papers again are being filed for recovery of the $200.00 required to drill out the lock on the safe deposit box.


New Business: Marvin Mulford announced he has been appointed Fly Creek representative to the Otsego County Fire organization. The county is talking about going to hi band radios from low band but it will take years to complete.


It was announced GEICO insurance will drop anyone if the company finds out the insured is a volunteer firefighter.


Comments: Donna Mulford requested names of those to whom baskets should be sent for Christmas.


Next meeting December 13.
